I really love writing. Especially fantasy stories and I'm writing on three of four separate "books" at the moment but I can't seem to finish any of them. I have really detailed storylines and I'm really excited to get to the end and see the result, but it's soooooooo boring coming up with these insignificant things between the big things. And every time I get bored with one project I start with a new one. *Slow clap for that* But there is a playlist on Youtube that is really awesome that really inspires me to go on! I thought I'd share it with you, it's great for studying, writing or anything that you can't seem to get done! It's a fanmade piece inspired by The Hunger Games made by "Unofficialscore" on youtube. It's such an epic score and you feel really badass doing anything while listening to this!
I'm browsing though and signing up to pages where you can apply for jobs as an actress or an extra. Well if you can pay for it.
Every single time that I sign on to something where they say "Apply for thousands of jobs!" I expect to be able to actually apply to the jobs! And one of the reasons that I apply for jobs I the fact that I need money, so I can't afford to pay for applying for something that I might not get anyways and even if I get it, I don't want to pay for getting payed! Now some people are probably thinking some thing like "You have to really go in for it!" but I can tell you that I think that moving away from home at the age of sixteen without any boarder additional is going in for it. And I want to get a job so I can contribute to my living to and I shouldn't have to pay for that! I'm sorry if I'm overreacting, but after the 2581745937251:th page with an "apply for X kr (swedish krona)" functions, you get kinda pissed. Her
Year: 2013 Director: Spike Jonze IMDB rating: 8,3/10 Starring: Jaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams and Scarlett Johansson Time: 126 min/2h 6min Plot: A lonely writer develops an unlikely relationship with his newly purchased operating system that's designed to meet his every need. Opinions: Much like for The Book Thief I wasn't that captured by the plot. It was a really original plot, and it certainly wasn't a regular feel-good romantic kind of movie, and I enjoyed that! But at times it was sort os slow and slow romantic movies isn't really my cup of tea. Once again I was more captured by the scenery and wardrobe. The staff has done a terrific job getting the whole futuristic thing going without it looking tacky or overdone. They brought back some of the fashion from before which i thought was very clever since fashion repeats itself, but with new quirks. The interior had also some 70-80's vibe going on with the colors. Brilliant! My rating: Plot - 7,6/10 Art - 8,7/10 The Book Thief
Year: 2013 Director: Brian Percival IMDB Rating: 7,7/10 Starring: Geoffery Rush, Emily Watson and Sophie Nélisse Time: 131 min/ 2h 11 min Plot: While subjected to the horrors of World War II Germany, young Liesel finds solace by stealing books and sharing them with others. In the basement of her home, a Jewish refugee is being sheltered by her adoptive parents. Opinions: I'm really weak for WW2 movies, but this one didn't really satisfy me. I'm not saying that it's a bad movie , absolutely not! But I had expected more from it. There were a lot of things that were quite predictable, I had expected more surprises and plot twists. Even though I wasn't impressed by the plot, the scenery, costume design and photography was done very well! As a piece of art it was beautiful! (Yes, I consider movies artworks) My rating: Plot-6/10 "Art"-7,8/10 Hey! Sorry for not posting for a while, but i got a really bad migraine on Wednesday night and I've been laying home sick pretty much ever since. But I got better yesterday afternoon so I hung along with some friends to Big Slam, which is an event for christian youths. Though there wasn't many of my closest friends there so I pretty much only sat staring into the air all evening, haha! But I met a friend that I met this summer and that was really nice! And after that it went back to staring, until my saviour came along! Marcus! (Don't think anything, I'm just really dramatic) We talked for about, what? 1-2 hours? Later on his friend Julia joined the conversation and so the night was saved! It was really nice!
Though I think it was stupid to leave home, because I'm back to being sick again, but it was worth it! Marcus gave me some movie tips so I'm planning on seeing them later today, and if I have the energy I'll wright reviews on them tonight! Until then, dear! Me and my friend made a pact that we wouldn't check social medias for a month, exept for on wednesdays and saturdays. I thought that it would be super hard and that I would give in directly. But ney! I havent cheated once and I cleaned and vacumed my apartment and did the dishes and everything in between! I'm so proud of myself!
Name - The Beach
Year - 2000 Director - Danny Boyle Starring - Leonardo DiCaprio, Tilda Swinton and Robert Carlyle Time - 119 min My rating - 7/10 Plot - Twenty-something Richard travels to Thailand and finds himself in possession of a strange map. Rumours state that it leads to a solitary beach paradise, a tropical bliss - excited and intrigued, he sets out to find it. But after he finds it, it is nothing like he expected. Review - I actually really like this movie, the actors are awesome and the scenery is done very well! It's actually a great plot, with a great meaning to it. It might sound cheezy, but check it out and say it isn't so, haha! There are things that could have been done better, like research and things like that, but apart from that it's a really nice movie! This is the video I wrote about yesterday. Watch it! Now!
Hola!
Every other thursday, me and a couple of friends from church have this thing called "Cellgroup". It basically means that we meet, eat, talk and pray together! It's really nice! Today we saw this awesome preach with a guy called Joel Osteen that really spoke to me! It was about daring to pray god-sized prayers, how if you ask god for something small, God gives you something small, but if you dare to pray for something god-sized he will respond in his full power! Doesn't that sound like the most awesome thing ever!? I would link it, but I'm on my phone so I can't... I'll link it tomorrow because I really think everyone should see it! So before you go to bed today, pray for something beyond your imagination! What's to loose? I haven't really had a good answer before. I do now. I bought a new dress the other day and I felt like wearing it today. BAD decision. You see, my school is in the centre of Trollhättan so I have to walk through the centre of the city to get there, and today is wednesday so there is a market in town today. And there I walked, feeling pretty and happy UNTIL I WALKED INTO ICA (a groceryshop) AND ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES TELLS ME THAT MY SKIRT HAS STUCK IN MY JACKET. I'D BEEN SHOWING MY ASS OF TO EVERYONE IN TROLLHÄTTAN. I felt a little bit like this: Lets say I've been touching my ass all day just to make sure the skirt stays in place...
Good evening!
Today I was going to go on a skiing trip with school so two of my friends slept over so they wouldn't have to get up before they even went to bed, since the bus left at 6am. We woke up at 6.05, but our friend called us and said we'd might make it. We didn't. We missed it by three minutes. Fuck. So we sat our asses down on a bench and ate our packed lunch and watched the sun rise over Trollhättan. We sat there for about an hour and a half before our school opened. So we asked our principal what to do, and since he is the best, he let us go to Innovatum, the science center in town. We went there and re-lived our childhood, bought some french fries and got home to my place, turned on a black and white movie and fell asleep. So even if we totally fucked our trip up, we still had a nice day! Now I'm "watching" How I met your mother. I'm using ""s because somewhere in my building there is someone who is playing the piano like a fricking god so I muted the telly to listen. Anyhoo! Farewell, my dearest of friends!
Sorry for my no-show, but it's happened a lot lately. For example me and two of my friends booked a concert in Copenhagen yesterday! We're going to see Bernhoft, a norwegian soul/modern bluesartist (he doesn't sing in norwegian, thank God) and he is amazeballz. Honestly. Check these videos out. You will swoon. Right? RIGHT!?
Anyways, I'm waiting for the ferry (Yes. My mother lives on an island) so I can go to Lysekil, where my father is waiting. We're going to my cousins baptism tomorrow, so yeah... Well, I'll tune in with a movietip later, I promise! See ya! |
